Winter Dreams

THEIR HEARTS’ DESIRE Daniel watched her face. “Did you miss me too,
Judith?”
“No, why should I?” she answered, forcing herself
to appear indifferent.
“Why? Oh, several reasons,” he murmured, “including
this.” Suddenly, he caught her to him, sliding his arms
around her and putting his lips over her in a rich,
luxurious kiss that almost stopped her heart. He held her
body to his and molded her to him. The hardness of his body
was tangible through her flimsy gown, and she was victim to
helpless desire as she cleaved against him, needing him so
much that she had no will but that to surrender. Her
breasts tightened, her soul yearned, and her willpower
dissolved as wild emotions seized her, reminding her of the
fool she had been in the past, and urging her to throw
caution to the winds now.
